At his sister’s [Sunita Mani] wedding, Naveen [Karan Soni] was constantly told he was “next.” Everyone knows he’s gay, but six years later, fearing his father’s [Harish Patel] and mother’s [Zarna Garg] reactions, Naveen still hasn’t found anyone he dares to introduce to them. Then he meets Jay [Jonathan Groff], the man of his dreams. The premise could have resulted in a formulaic approach, but Sethi takes the main characters and their dilemmas seriously, resulting in a refreshing, moving, heartwarming and often very funny romantic comedy. Garg shines as the loving mother who does everything she can to please Naveen, and Patel puts a lump in your throat (but not in the usual way) as Naveen’s dour-looking father. A film that is guaranteed to leave you with a broad smile.

This is a pretty fun movie.
The humor isn't very funny.
But there are some 'nice' moments in the film.
The lead actor (Karan Soni) is excellent. And his sister even better, for that matter. She steals the show in this film.
