Coyote vs. Acme plot
In his quest to catch the Road Runner, his nemesis and potential meal, Wile E. Coyote has been using Acme Corporation products for years. However, Wile E. is fed up with the fact that the equipment has the opposite effect and almost never works as intended. He therefore decides to sue Acme Corporation. To do this, he calls on a human lawyer who has fallen into disrepair. The latter must do everything he can to win the lawsuit when he discovers that Acme is represented by the intimidating boss of his previous law firm.

Better than expected. I do wonder, though, if young people are still familiar with these animations; the glory years of Looney Tunes are long behind us. You end up with a weird film that tries to find a level suitable for today's children and nostalgic (grand)parents who remember them from the past. Unfortunately, this results in less success, because the outcome falls between two target audiences. The characters are at least like they used to be. They are voiceless, and there is plenty of room for animation and winks. But just like with the Tom & Jerry movie from 2021, the animated characters play more of a supporting role. Although it is difficult to translate them from old short films into a feature film. But with low expectations for this film, it turned out quite well.

Thanks to a commercial featuring ambulance hunters Avery [Will Forte], Jones [Martha Kelly], and Maltese [Tone Bell], Wile E. Eric Bauza skillfully follows in Mel Blanc's footsteps by voicing 10 cartoon characters in this respectful, loving, and ultimately even moving tribute to the Looney Toons.
