Ambitious Dutch product and actually worth going to for that reason alone.
Opening scene is great: smooth & dazzling with beautiful locations and well filmed. Then the pitfalls that you regularly see in Dutch productions are encountered: dramatically written dialogues and a cast that does amateur theater. True, the cringey dialogue doesn't make believable acting any easier. But really no actor gets a passing grade here. That is also an achievement in itself.
The action is neat. Lots of well-filmed gunfights, which at the same time overshadow the wafer-thin plot. That works out pretty well, because it's pretty cool. But at a certain point the action loses some of its power, after which all the negatives are painfully exposed again. This results, for example, in a volatile, poorly written ending with the icing on the cake being a final chat between 3 characters that really makes you crawl a little deeper into your cinema seat to brave the cringe factor.
As mindless Dutch entertainment it is passable. As mentioned, a good dose of action. Never realistic because the Marines have a competition of running around uncovered, but it has its charm.
When I looked around the room, I'm afraid that this (which must almost be a considerable budget) costs will not be recouped.

Where the acting sometimes drops some points, the film work picks it up again. The cinematography is very good and the lighting of the film makes it very pleasant to watch. For someone who can appreciate the work behind a film, this is definitely recommended. The film, like almost all films these days, is fairly predictable, but unexpected things still occur. If you can sympathize a bit and like to see a lot of action in a film, I would definitely recommend this one.

Mediocre action movie. The story is secondary and as a viewer you feel that they are really trying to turn it into a Hollywood action film. Unfortunately they don't succeed, but all in all not super bad. The pace is nice, but it never becomes really exciting because it all feels a bit clumsy. But you notice that everyone has done their best to make something of it and you as a viewer just have to appreciate that. The acting could be better. Visually just enough. Nice try and appreciated for the courage. Nice try. 2.5
