Christmas at the Chalet plot
Despite the fact that Lex Riley has not been an entertainment reporter for almost twenty years, she has maintained her star status as the wife of sports journalist Charles Hammond. That's why their recent separation was so striking, because their lives drifted apart. Lex spends Christmas in a chalet with her son, ex-husband and his new girlfriend. To keep things from getting too close to home, she volunteers to work in the chalet while she documents it all for her new followers.
