I doubted whether I would watch this. Bad acting, no emotion or chemistry between the characters. As if this movie was made by a student as a hobby project. And yes, there is a moral behind the story, but that does not make the movie good. The title says it all.

Not for me. 1*

My goodness, this is a bad movie.

I understand that in the US they want to turn history around to make black people look better, and in some movies and series they have succeeded, but certainly not in this movie. Such a super bad story, such soft characters, so stupid that they let the "white" people (who they have to protect in this movie) do it.

After watching for a good half hour (I thought, maybe it will still happen, maybe the film will get better if I have a little more patience), but no, it wasn't that bad, so I turned the film off.

Never watch this again. Waste of time.

The timid Aren [Justice Smith] is invited to join a secret organization composed of Black people dedicated to helping white people achieve their goals without getting in their way. For his first assignment, Aren goes to work at the social media platform Meetbox. There, he must help Jason [Drew Tarver] curry favor with the owner [Rupert Friend] and set him up with a relationship with colleague Lizzie [An-Li Bogan]. Sharp yet lighthearted satire on (the lack of) cultural diversity and the straitjacket that still prevents many Black Americans from standing up for their interests. Smith and Bogan are excellent, and the epilogue is a gem.
