Everything Christmas plot
Lori-Jo (LJ) and Tory are best friends and colleagues. Christmas is LJ's favorite time of year, while Tory is more practically oriented, thinking about the holidays a lot. Therefore, in an ultimatum from her boss, LJ resigns rather than work during the holidays. She is determined not to postpone her Christmas plans again this year and go to Yuletide Springs, a town that celebrates Christmas all year round. In a promise to her now deceased grandmother, LJ plans to hang the Christmas tree ornament they made together on the public Christmas tree in the town square on Christmas Eve.
