Moderate mysterious drama with some horror elements. The story is quite well put together. The execution is very variable. The beginning is quite boring and the makers seem to want to offer you as a viewer a kind of zombie-like action film, but that does not get off the ground at all. However, in the second part they put you on the wrong track and it becomes clear that it is more of a mysterious drama, which is quite surprising. Only the parts do not really match each other. It just does not feel like a fitting whole. Too bad. The acting is reasonable, but Smith does not really know how to charm. Visually mediocre and a bit cheap. 2.5

For once I disagree with the imbd score. Not a big fan of Zombie movies, but I thought this one was pretty good. As I said here, I knew pretty quickly how it would end, but that didn't bother me. Moss and Smith acted well and the story was a bit different than your average Zombie movie...

A surprising drama film with a touch of mystery, thriller, and horror in the background. Interested viewers shouldn't be swayed by the sensational poster, as you'll quickly be in for a major disappointment. Director Lowell Dean also struggles with the structure, as the characters aren't particularly interesting and the post-apocalyptic setting lacks much fear or menace. As a result, the urgency and danger of the situation are never felt, but the second half delivers several strong twists. The finale, in particular, is incredibly strong, with Dean, as director, adding some valuable perspectives. It's nice that you can still come up with original ideas these days within these tired worlds.
