Strong Danish crime film with a few old acquaintances in the cast. Well put together story that is presented realistically, with some exciting but also intense moments. Laura's dark trauma is depicted slightly over the top at certain moments. There is quite a surprise in the ending that will leave you in amazement.

I actually enjoyed watching it. Tight pace and a great balance between crime and drama. The modus operandi surrounding the theme of punishing women who have abortions is intriguing.

However, the film contains many flaws, things that are not correct or are simply very sloppily developed. Strange that so little research has been done on the first victim, for example. And the many things that were investigated outside the book, only to end up in the container, were also covered with the cloak of love.

The ending indeed goes one step further. It was a given that that mother was going to do something, but I didn't see this coming. Quite intense, great plot that spills over into Laura's private life, although that is no longer original. But it was fun.

Shot in a raw, realistic way, emphasizing the atrocities a psychopath can commit. On the other hand, a woman with a trauma that has far-reaching consequences for herself and those around her. The whole thing is framed around getting pregnant, being pregnant, and having been pregnant. Viewed from the woman's perspective, this is heavy stuff. The film itself lacks depth, but perhaps that's an advantage for the viewer, who can draw their own conclusions. My conclusion: a woman always has the right to self-determination over her being and body. The finale addresses a well-known psychological issue. 3.4*
