We Who Are about to Die plot
"The Terrific drama about men who are about to die!"
When he quits his job as an aircraft engineer in New Mexico after a fight with his boss, John Thompson decides to take his girlfriend and move to California. On his way to collect his paycheck, he is kidnapped by a criminal gang who plan to rob the payroll office of John's former employer. They take his car and one of them is wearing his coat as he raids the office. During the robbery, an employee is killed and a little boy is run over as the gang escapes. They dump the car and release John, who is arrested soon after and charged with robbery and murder. A detective sinks his teeth into the case.
