Drug addict Kait retreats to a remote place to kick the habit. Her sister Olivia joins her to document this period. The house they stay in turns out to have nothing good in store. An original horror film that unfortunately lacks the right approach to properly develop this concept, as director Jack Dignan deliberately opts for found footage. This loses much of the logic (why is half of this footage filmed anyway) and significantly reduces the tension. Moreover, when it comes to more exciting scenes, Dignan keeps falling back on a single threat: a screaming woman running through the house. Towards the end, an intelligent revelation seems written into the script, but amid all the fanfare and cinematic chaos, it's barely comprehensible.
