Maggie worries about her father, whose lease is almost up but terrified to move. Things don't get along at all between him and the unsympathetic landlord Chris, but he recently fell and lost his memory. Maggie uses this windfall to try to renew her father's lease, but Chris demands in return that she help him regain his memory.
