De Datsja plot

Ten-year-old Jordy lives with his father and sister, Irina, in a messy house with a large yard. The house wasn't always so messy. Jordy's mother recently returned to Russia, her homeland. Since then, the household has been completely disrupted. Jordy comes up with a way to get his mother back to the Netherlands: he and his two best friends are going to convert the old shed in the backyard into a Russian dream house: a Dacha. It must be a house in which his mother feels at home and never has to feel homesick again.
