Three young people studying astronomy track down a meteorite that crashed not far from their campus. On the spot, they come to the disconcerting conclusion that an alien invasion is underway. While three-legged killing machines level everything and everyone to the ground, the students look for a way to stop the invasion.

What a poor achievement to outdo a great film with this abomination. Bad acting, unbelievable army and even worse chi to top it off. Don't bother watching this movie, it's a waste of your valuable time.

Director Junaid Syed has a remarkably broad career as a VFX artist and previously worked on bombastic film productions, so he probably hoped to showcase his talents with this film. Unfortunately, things don't go well for him, because the computer animations in particular are particularly disappointing. You may be able to give the makers some successful background layout and playing with designs, but it proves to be too limited to provide all spectacle scenes with positive entertainment value. The three cast members don't actually do a bad job, but the screenplay by Syed and Tom Jolliffe provides them with so little personality that none gets off the ground. The story progression is also an almost exact, but smaller-scale copy of the original film, which means that any form of surprise can immediately be thrown overboard. The intention of the end result completely escapes me, because it is stripped of any significant action scenes, originality and idiosyncrasy. In every respect a joke film that hopes to profit from lost viewers.
