Kingdom II: Harukanaru Daichi E plot
The story takes place during the spring and autumn war period in Qin, a country in western China. Half a year has passed since Shin, who has no family, teams up with the young King Eimasa to retake the throne. Neighboring Wei begins to invade Qin. Shin, who has joined Qin's army as an infantryman, forms a party of five with Kai Kai, who looks like a child. Shin and his friends reach the Dakan Plain, the site of the decisive battle, but the battle is hopeless and disastrous.

Second of three parts of this manga film adaptation. How good the first movie was (4*) how insignificant this sequel is. Shame. This is because an adventure film is abandoned here and war drama that works poorly is chosen. In the first film, the rightful Qin ruler was put back on the throne. Here the king must defend his territory with military force against his enemies, the Wei. Poor plot lines, an annoying main character who wants to be "the best general in the world" and epic-looking but also uninspired battles make this absolutely uninteresting.
