Nice idea. 3 astronauts and 3 cosmonauts are staying on the ISS and war suddenly breaks out on Earth. Both the Americans and the Russians are ordered to take over the ISS. Of course, both groups do not tell each other this and as a result the atmosphere sometimes becomes quite stuffy. I thought some of the crew members' choices were strange, but of course you don't know what you would do in such a situation. The actors did a fine job, by the way. The CGI could have been better. For example, in a scene where Gordon is trying to reach the antenna, you look along and see the Earth over his shoulder. That looked more like the sun, it was that bright, haha. And indeed what was mentioned above. The zero gravity aspect sometimes seemed a bit amateurish.
In short, a nice thriller for once, but nothing more than that.

Intriguing SF film about a crisis on board the International Space Station, when a nuclear war breaks out on Earth. The solid acting of the international cast and the convincing production design contribute to the paranoid, claustrophobic atmosphere on board the space station. Not equally believable everywhere and the film does lose some of its power towards the end, but the film is certainly entertaining and exciting.
