The Canterville Ghost plot
"It's his house, not yours."
Sir Simon de Canterville has haunted his ancestral home for 300 years. Everything changes when an American family buys the estate and moves in. The family are not impressed by Sir Simon's spooky antics and do not find him scary at all. They even find him a bit of a nuisance. It doesn't take long for the young twin boys of the family to scare the hell out of him. Sir Simon becomes discouraged and disappointed by the boys' pranks, but becomes hopeful as he embarks on a journey with the family's teenage daughter to find the source of his 300-year-old curse.
