In the late 1990s, Sagrario, Paz, Gloria and Father Girón form an investigation team specializing in paranormal phenomena. While things aren't going great for the group, they agree to investigate an antique shop where strange things are happening. But what seemed like a case like any other becomes the most difficult of their lives. And only together will they be able to solve it.

The Catholic Spanish priest Padre Pilón [Emilio Gutiérrez Caba] founded the Heta Group in 1987 to investigate paranormal events with a scientific approach. After an incident in an apartment, he ends up in a hospital, and it is up to the other group members to find out exactly what happened. Three associates, all middle-aged women, take on this challenge at risk to their own lives, but also with humor and a healthy dose of perspective. Their down-to-earth approach gives this a distinctive angle that never comes at the expense of suspense and action. Based on true events that once again underscore that the truth is stranger (and much more surprising) than fiction. Ruede, Acosta, and Olayo are excellent. The real protagonists of this true story appear just before the credits roll.
