Dr. Wolfgang Dittus left for Sri Lanka in 1968 to study Crowned Cape monkeys. The monkeys captivated him so much that he never left. In the more than 50 years he has spent with them, he has mapped out the doings of more than 5,000 Cape Vermont monkeys.
