Brazil's Emerald Oasis plot
Brazil's vast Pantanal is the largest wetland area in the world and home to the highest concentration of tropical wildlife in South America. It is a land of extreme contrasts, from torrential rain to arid heat. At the height of the dry season, the floodplains bake and a scorching battle for life begins. However, there is an oasis that stubbornly refuses to disappear, a mysterious place that serves as a refuge for a large number of animals and a hunting ground for predators: Rebel Lake. Here tapirs bathe, wading birds catch fish and jaguars prowl hungrily along the banks.
