Lao Luo is a retired stuntman who loves his horse but unfortunately it has become part of a financial dispute. He enlists the help of his daughter but suddenly becomes a social media sensation when their fight with some creditors is suddenly filmed and goes viral.

A film dedicated to the stuntmen of the past and present (from Hong Kong) could not wish for a better protagonist than Jackie Chan, the veteran who has entertained millions of fans around the world for decades with old-fashioned, real stunts and rightly the Fred Astaire of can be called the action genre. He plays the role of an old, depreciated stuntman and horse trainer, who is in danger of losing his beloved horse to a creditor [Jing Wu]. To maintain his livelihood, he turns to his estranged daughter [Haocun Liu], a law student, and his fiancée [Kevin Guo], a lawyer. Meanwhile, a young fan [Xing Yu] gives him the chance to shine again as a stuntman, even though the producers prefer to keep it simple with special effects. The sweet father/daughter story is thin and sentimental, but Chan is in an old-fashioned way, even though he is at an age where he can no longer perform his comic stunts in one continuous take (hence the comparison with Astaire). And he gets a lot of competition from his horse.
