Six lost astronauts search for a way out of a planet that should be dead. Caleb, the group's newcomer, wakes up on the forested planet Anthemusus with no memory of how or why he landed on a planet that was covered in dry sand until his arrival. He encounters a group of settlers, led by Hunter, who also know no way to escape. Even worse is the disappearance of their mission commander, Victor, who appears to the team in the form of a floating head that speaks in cryptic riddles and sentences. Believing that Victor has found a way out, the team sets out to find him.
