The Museum Boijmans van Beuning in Rotterdam, which opened in 1935, is in need of a thorough renovation. Museum director Sjarel Ex and architect/designer Winy Maas try to make a virtue of necessity. They are joining forces to create a depot next to the original building in which all works of art (and there are more than 151,000 of them) are accessible to the public. The title refers to the fact that the facade of the new building consists of large, convex mirrors. If Joe appreciates the humor of this pun, then you might also chuckle at the sung opening credits, even if it doesn't make any sense. It seems to be a diversion by Dolz, who may have realized at a late moment that her documentary was very conventional and therefore inevitably a bit boring. The minimal cross-section of the relevant works of art at the end nevertheless definitely invites you to visit this 'depot' in the short term.
