A Spanish version of 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens. If you're not already Christmas-loving and certainly not into Spanish films, then it's best not to start. I myself like a corny Christmas movie and usually these are not of a high level, but that's just the way it is, it's much more about the Christmas atmosphere here. People who don't like this are just like Ebeneber Scrooge, so bitter... Is also a film with the necessary humor, especially in the beginning. End a bit more emotional. Since I have a soft spot for the Spanish language and have been studying it for a year and a half now, this film is a good exercise and fits in with the current Christmas period. Is Mexican Spanish by the way, which is very understandable because they speak slower than, for example, the Spanish from Spain… Other than that, I think this is much better than the standard Hallmark Christmas movie. Well worth 4* for a Christmas movie.
