Angel Falls Christmas plot
Surgeon Ally just got a promotion, but she still wants to work extra shifts for Christmas. Her boyfriend, Josh, eventually gives up and instead of proposing to her, he breaks up with her. He wants Ally to see that life isn't all about work. At the same time, Ally wants Josh to understand why work is so important. The wishes are heard by two angels. Desperate after the breakup, Ally half-heartedly sets out to celebrate Christmas. Something she hasn't done in a long time. She is assisted by the angel Gabriel who accompanies her in her celebrations to help her on the right path. Can Ally win Josh back? And can Gabriel help her without falling for her himself?

After Christmas on Windmill Way (Film, 2023) and The Merry Gentlemen (Film, 2024), Chad Michael Murray proves that not every Hallmark Christmas movie he stars in is a hit. Unlike the other two films, this Angel Falls Christmas drags along slowly and has a rather contrived script, which never seems to become fun or interesting.
The main problem is that this movie does not meet the romantic standard that is normally found in a Hallmark Christmas movie. What remains is a lot of moralistic nonsense about the Christmas spirit and a leading actress who looks rather bored. Chad Michael Murray tries to make something of his role but there is little honor to be gained.
Very mediocre, even by Hallmark standards.
