Cute little Chilean romance film that director Rodrigo Sepúlveda manages to keep small. He seems to understand well that not every film of this type has to come with extra strong drama or a story that tries to be forced to be intelligent. No, instead we get a film with likable cast members and a brisk pace. Andrew Bargsted and Vivianne Dietz share a healthy chemistry and deliver more than decent acting. Sepúlveda sometimes makes things a bit too difficult for itself in terms of content by including short political elements and an unnecessary middle section in which Dietz goes to live somewhere else out of insult. Although it is nowhere too heavy, there is already a lot going on here. with just a bit too much focus on side issues. This gets in the way of a very cute video, but in the end I had a lot of fun with the end result. Something like this once in a while can't hurt at all.
