Twelve-year-old Maissa [Jaike Belfor] lives with her mother [Zineb Fallouk] in an apartment building in Rotterdam that is in danger of being demolished. The responsible project developer [Stefan Rokebrand] tries to buy out the inhabitants early and partly because the building is rather neglected, he has quite a bit of success. But Maissa is very attached to this place, especially because it brings back fond memories of her late father [Mamoun Elyounoussi]. Together with her best friend Juno [Jahlay van Bosse] and her uncle Yunis [Said Boumazoughe], Maissa sets to work to make the building more livable. A nice idea, but the screenplay contains too many underdeveloped ideas, not least Roamissa's so-called 'superpowers'. Of course, the flat acting of the kids doesn't help either.
