Fijn Weekend plot
In French Burgundy, a close-knit group of friends gather for a memorial weekend to honor their deceased friend. The widow unexpectedly introduces her new love to the group. What follows is a rollercoaster of emotions in which the mutual relationships come to a complete standstill.

Top shelf humor, at least if you like Peppi and Kokki. Camper drives meandering across the road, ooohh what fun we have together, laughing vultures roaring..
Thought at the beginning that my phone was going off, it turns out that it is in the film. Then just change the ringtone, as a 'director' you understand that half of the Netherlands is walking around with such a ringtone, right?
A bird being pulled apart, then a dead boar lies on the ground ("I shot him in the carotid artery like that") They stand there in a group together, that poor dead boar is behind them.. And I have to all think it's funny, this sad animal torture?
Well, what did I expect with a title like that. We're waiting for a romcom that says 'Bye bye!' will be called, or 'Good job! or "Don't call me" or "How are you?"

A family comes together for a special weekend in which they pay tribute to their brother/brother-in-law Olivier [Ludwig Bindervoet] by holding the Ol-lympics that he devised. There is an unsolicited and unwanted guest [Kay Greidanus], a demented father [Aus Greidanus] and of course there are the necessary marital quarrels before it all turns out nicely when the ashes are scattered.
