Geheimnisvolle Eichhörnchen plot

Everyone loves squirrels and yet we only know them from their short visits to the ground. In this documentary, red squirrels are shown in their own environment: high in the treetops. The film traces their life cycle, from preparing for winter, building the nest and storing the nuts, to mating and rearing the young. Including surviving the attacks of predators.
