A documentary that tells the story of Zarifa Ghafari, who at the age of 26 became one of the first female Afghan mayors and the youngest ever to hold the position. Spanning two turbulent years, the film documents her personal struggle for survival as her country disintegrates with the rapid withdrawal of Western troops and the return of the Taliban to power.
