"The gangster who became friends with the king of Norway"
Documentary about gangster Johannes S. Andersen, known as 'Yellow Cheese', who became friends with Haakon VII, the king of Norway during World War II. In the 1920s and 1930s Andersen was Norway's most notorious criminal, but extraordinary historical and personal coincidences made him a close friend of the king. The documentary begs the question: How could a notorious criminal get away with murder? How could he be protected by the Norwegian king and parliament after the war, and even get a wood factory as a gift from the king of Norway, after he killed two defenseless people in peacetime?
