High school can be a nightmare for any teenager. But it's different for Tara, living in the shadow of a harrowing family curse: she's a descendant of ax murderer Lizzie Borden. As Tara begins to hear voices and have paranoid visions of her family being slaughtered, people in her small town are attacked and murdered. And all the evidence points to her. Gripped by her family's past, Tara must confront the demons that possess her, both real and imaginary, and a shocking truth.

It is strange to think that such a wafer-thin concept has managed to acquire some names. Bibb has been in the business for several years now and A'zion is no unknown actress either. It is inconvenient that they allow themselves to be used for a relatively simple job, but they probably could not have known that in advance. The disadvantage of The Inhabitant is mainly its predictability. Teenagers descended from a serial killer is something that has been repeated over and over and this movie adds nothing to it. Some nicely put together scenes and scarce tension arcs bring happy life to the brewery. Director Lauder just doesn't seem to know that the film should also remain entertaining for the entire duration, but The Inhabitant is set up so dramatically that it is difficult to always stay on top of the lesson. I hope that A'zion in particular chooses a more reliable project next time, because it has been unjustly in B-work for years.
