The Transcontinental Race is an annual, self-supported cycling race across Europe. The route and distance varies per race between 3000 and 4000 kilometers. Participants who successfully complete the race generally take seven to ten days. This documentary follows some cyclists between 2016 and 2018 as they cycle through a breathtaking landscape for 18 hours a day. For this ultimate endurance test, they sacrifice comfort and sleep.
