In 2010, at the age of 66, Ramiro Calle, a pioneer in the introduction of yoga in Spain, contracted listeriosis in Sri Lanka. Recorded in Madrid and against the prognosis that gave him four hours to live, he recovered to the bewilderment of the medical community. A few months later, Ramiro continued teaching at his center, the Shadak, which has been visited by more than 300,000 people since 1971.
