Nice.
Extremely successful diary of two friends who have made a wonderful journey. I myself did part of their route some time ago (the usual EBC route with the 3 passes) and the way the trekking is portrayed is very truthful. Although the ladies visited a different period, with fewer tourists, the atmosphere is very recognizable, both during the walks and in the lodges. I must admit that the documentary makes me itch again.
The ladies themselves are a bit too floaty for me. Complain about cold feet, but do yoga in the morning barefoot at an altitude of 4500m (and a little higher).. Well. Also their drivel about friendship and how you become a different person from a trekking really doesn't appeal to me. But purely as a travel diary it is great. By the way, the storytelling pace is wonderfully calm: just like Nepalese guides keep tempering their customers while walking.
