On the Trails of the Glaciers: Mission to Caucasus plot

After a successful expedition in Karakorum, a large group of people, led by photographer and alpinist Fabiano Ventura, set out for the Caucasus in Georgia. It is an area of incomparable beauty that was made inaccessible for decades by the Soviet Union regime and is therefore still pristine and timeless. Ventura and his team of experts want to take photographs and juxtapose them with old images of the explorers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Next, they want to conduct a scientific analysis to determine the health of some of the largest glaciers in the world.
