A plant that is in the right place at the right time grows fast.

What an interesting film about time. While one person trains for hours and hours to run that one 0.001s faster, for another, the seconds, minutes, weeks, months, and years tick away. It was presented very humorously, too, but at the same time with a certain seriousness. The number of times I was doubled over with laughter was certainly considerable. And that cap the man is wearing! But at the same time, the film made me empathize enormously with the events.

As a fan of the CTWC, Classic Tetris World Championship, and as a geek in general, fast and precise action does fascinate me. So, on the one hand, I feel a certain sympathy for the main character; on the other hand, the man is sometimes such a jerk. Fortunately, drama is inevitable, and suddenly life turns out to be quite a challenge. Many seconds, let alone thousands of seconds, are lost to everyday worries. In a sense, it is also somewhat of a coming-of-age film. Some aspects of this are done so delightfully, with countless references to modern technology, that it also evokes a huge sense of recognition.

I also find the music in this film phenomenal, as well as the use of camera angles and other techniques. The genre blending in this film is also quite original, but it doesn't want to spoil the fun for others too much by giving too much away. For me, one of the better comedies I've ever seen. Although the film is certainly more than just a parody. The 100% on Rotten Tomatoes is well deserved, even if it is based on only 5 reviews.

I want to see more from director Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit, a name that rings a bell!
