"Two lonely lost souls encounter in a city that never sleeps"
Since his wife left him three years ago, taxi driver Mada has led an aimless life in Macau. Plagued by insomnia, he works at night. He drinks a lot during the day. One evening, he is found dead drunk by Lena, a young nightclub hostess who works in a restaurant during the day. She has entrusted her daughter to her mother's care.
