"He's back! Again! Just like the other times!"
A small town in Alabama, the 90s. It's the doomed third Saturday in October. For the residents, it is an evening to gather and watch football. For young PJ, it's a chance to persuade her nanny Maggie to take her to Catfish Cabin before the night is over. However, no one realizes that the masked and unstoppable serial killer Jakkariah 'Jack' Harding has returned from the dead and is starting to kill again.

Director Jay Burleson uses the same format as in his "first" installment, with a series of absurd characters, a strange murderer, and numerous references to the era. The downside is that this time, none of the characters truly work, the visuals are ugly, and the killer comes across as rather questionable. A few gruesome murders liven things up a bit, and young Poppy Cunningham is particularly good, but overall, the film is repetitive and devoid of highlights. Extra credit is due, however, for never truly being boring.
