Just seen on imagine. A film with a good premise. But here could have been much more. The film is not really exciting, dramatic or oppressive enough and due to the superficiality and characters that are not well developed, this remains a missed opportunity.

shugenja hits the nail on the head. It contains all the ingredients for an exciting film: a dark forest, a strange forest dweller, silent villagers and a murder from long ago. But the story is told so distantly by Saralisa Volm that the film just doesn't want to get exciting. We also do not get any connection with the main character, a girl who is as silent as the forest. She's an intern, but from what exactly? She does soil research. But why exactly? And how? As a viewer, you are left to your own devices. The film is also full of plot holes and goes out like the proverbial candle. And you really need it in such a dark forest...
