Private detective Ferdinand Zankl is suspected of murdering his ex-girlfriend, the manager of an animal shelter. And just now he has his hands full with another case. To protect Frederike Bader, he had buried the corpse of a hit man in the Bavarian forests, and now excavations are planned there. Bader has to come to his rescue.
