Intriguing true crime documentary, which is not very unique or different from most docu's in its genre, but you still want to know how the fork is in the stem and whether they can solve the big questions.
Franklin Floyd is yet another unscrupulous monster who in turn is the product of (sexual) abuse and neglect. So you can see that it is a vicious circle that can cause suffering for generations.
Furthermore, not really a review to give, because a documentary like this almost always stands or falls by how bizarre and interesting the subject is. Therefore an average 3.5*.

For lovers of true crime, this is a must watch. This story is gripping, shocking and extremely bizarre. Pretty soon as a viewer you are sucked into a story, which makes you wonder how it is all possible. A story about a girl who never got a chance in life and was abandoned by everything and everyone. We all have an opinion about Netflix, but making crime documentaries is above average for them.
