The Bricklayer plot
"Some secrets are deadly."
An unknown person is causing trouble for the CIA. As the bodies of foreign journalists pile up, intelligence appears to be responsible for the killings. Mediocre action movie. The story is weak and not really convincing, but that's okay with an action film. The effect is a bit messy. The pace is nice and the film contains enough action. The action scenes look good but are not memorable. But unfortunately the film jumps around a bit and it seems as if Harlin wants to make it a bit more complex than it is. It's quite distracting and at a certain point it doesn't really matter what happens anymore. The acting is otherwise fine and the film is visually fine. 2.5/3.0
