Mediterranean Fever plot
Waleed is forty years old and lives in Haifa with his wife and children. He dreams of a writing career while suffering from depression. He develops a bond with his neighbor - a petty con man. As the arrangement turns into an unexpected friendship, it leads them on a journey of dark encounters.

Waleed [Amer Hlehel] has been in therapy for depression for two years, without the hoped-for result. This drives not only Waleed, but also his family to despair. After asking new neighbor Jalal Sabbah [Ashraf Farah] several times to turn the music down, the two start talking. That is the beginning of an awkward friendship (more or less) that can take the lives of both men on a different track. Starts a bit slow, but Hlehel and Farah are authentic in their roles to make this interesting enough, despite a somewhat melodramatic denouement.
