Catherine Called Birdy plot
"Don't call me lady."
In the year 1290, Lady Catherine, nicknamed Birdy, grows up in England. She lives with her parents Lord Rollo and Lady Aislinn in Stonebridge Manor, which has seen better days. To get out of financial trouble, her father wants to marry her off to a wealthy man. But that doesn't count for Birdy, who ingeniously keeps her suitors at a distance. She doesn't want to give up her independent life just yet.
