The Battle for Jericho plot

When Sarah examines her late mother's belongings, she discovers the true cause of her previously deceased sister Tess's death. She turns out to have died from an attack by a mutated brain-eating jellyfish that had infiltrated the water supply. Sarah's efforts to sort it out are met with resistance from Simon Backhouse, who was then mayor of Jericho, where Tess lived.
