CIA agent Abby Trent leads an underground secret facility where dangerous and high-risk inmates are locked up. A few days before Abby is transferred to a new workplace, a special unit brings in a high-value target: Hatchet. He is known for killing his enemies in a gruesome way. For Abby, his capture is personal, because he killed her husband. Though Abby is determined to exact revenge, her plan soon falls into chaos when Hatchet escapes and a bloody game begins.

What a misery. Worthless and unlikely. The setting was pretty fake. The acting is very mediocre. The plot made no sense and the ending was predictability itself. No idea who will be happy about this.

Moderate thriller. The story falters on all sides and is not very realistic. The effect is quite variable. On the one hand, there are quite a few exciting moments and the film is quite fascinating. On the other hand, there are such strange plot twists and the makers take it all way too seriously, which clashes quite a bit. The action scenes are pretty hard and rough.
