In the paranoid world of cryptocurrency, there is only one rule: don't trust anyone. When Gerry Cotten - the young founder of Canada's largest but failing cryptocurrency exchange QuadrigaCX - dies under mysterious circumstances, he takes the password of $250 million in client funds with him to the grave. Shocked investors refuse to believe this. They suspect that Garry's "death" has all the hallmarks of a scam, that Garry is still alive and has run off with their money.
