Jack Ward is a farmer haunted by a family tragedy and leading a secluded life. He gets a chance at redemption when a young girl, on the run from abuse and murder, comes into his life. Safety and security are short-lived as the girl's vengeful father and his gang rush on the two. Now Ward must appeal to his instincts as a paternal protector and take on the sadistic invaders.
