In 2019, record-breaking British mountaineer Tom Ballard disappeared on one of the deadliest mountains in the Himalayas, Nanga Parbat. 25 years earlier and just 160 kilometers away, his mother, Alison Hargreaves, one of the greatest mountaineers ever, died on K2. 'The Last Mountain' follows Tom's sister, Kate, on a trip to Nanga Parbat to say goodbye to her brother.
