Convinced that a divorce would break her daughter's heart, Zohra is unable to leave her husband Omar. However, she is repeatedly confronted with his tantrums in which he does not shy away from violence. Then she meets the kung fu master Chang Sue who teaches her to defend herself and fight back.

Zohra [Sabrina Ouazani] and Omar [Ramzy Bedia] meet in a store and, partly due to their shared love for Martial Arts film, they fall hopelessly in love with each other. However, Omar appears to have a short temper. Just when Zohra has decided to leave Omar, she turns out to be pregnant. Omar manages to persuade her to stay, but continues to abuse Zohra. Zohra has packed her bags many times, but Omar uses his influence over daughter Zina [Lina Hachani] to keep Zohra with him. In a sports hall she meets cleaner Chang Sue [Tien Shue], who only speaks a few words of French, but immediately realizes that Zohra needs his help. He secretly teaches Zohra how to defend and resist her violent husband in her own home. El Mechri himself wrote the script for this unusual, but exciting and sometimes hilarious mix of marital drama and kung fu with a wink.

A curious film whose serious approach doesn't quite mesh with the slightly absurd humor during the final fight between Zohra and Omar, and certainly not with the Kill Bill sequence during the end credits, and the voiceover commenting afterward wasn't the best idea either. But the performances are excellent, the approach to the marital issues is nuanced, and perhaps I should have approached the film more lightheartedly based on the bizarre title alone, but that's hard for me with a theme like domestic violence.
